Downtown Conroe's Historic Barbershop

Shepard's Barber Shop has been part of downtown Conroe since 1912, making it one of the oldest barbershops in Texas. Generations of Conroe families have gotten their first haircuts — and their hundredth — in its chairs.

The work is classic barbering done well: men's cuts, fades, flat tops, beard trims, and traditional hot-lather straight-razor shaves. Walk in any time during shop hours; no appointment needed.

More than a century in, Shepard's is still what a barbershop should be — a good cut, a familiar chair, and a bit of Conroe history.
